Anthony, Monik and I started exploring ideas to work on early last year, and after talking to 150+ businesses and people across industries and several pivots, we landed on the current version of Toma—a voice AI agent that automates appointment bookings for car dealerships. We went through YC, raised a seed round, and grew the business to $15k+ in MRR by the time I left the team.
As a first-time founder that wore multiple hats including product, ops, customer support, marketing and sales, I learned a ton along the way and got a deeper understanding of what it takes to go from 0 to 0.1 and beyond, build something people want, and bring it to market.
